Kathy has been executive director of PRG since 2009 and is responsible for the organization's finances, budgeting, fundraising, personnel, and public relations. Her prior experience includes project and program management in the fields of affordable housing and community development.
Nimo worked in housing and financial literacy at the African Development Center, both in the Twin Cities and Greater Minnesota for 7 years. Most recently she worked on community development through arts and culture as a 2014 Bush Fellow. Nimo is also the founder of the Somali Arts, Language and Leadership Institute. She's excited to join PRG in reimagining what homeownership in Minnesota looks like in a changing market.
Kevin manages PRG’s renovation and construction of single-family homes. He has 17 years of experience developing affordable housing in a diverse, urban environment, as well as extensive experience with partnership building and community organizing.
Thandisizwe is one of PRG’s homebuyer workshop facilitators and serves clients who are interested in homebuyer education, pre-purchase counseling, and foreclosure prevention. She has worked in the housing counseling arena since 2011. Her background includes community engagement and outreach and work related to foreclosure prevention and tenant rights.
Paul maintains office systems, tends to PRG's technology needs, does much of our day-to-day accounting, and handles other administrative tasks. He has extensive experience in office management and accounting, including running his own business and creating systems for several non-profit organizations. He has been with PRG since 2005.
Ryan is responsible for PRG’s website content, social media activities, publications, media relations, as well as foundation and individual fundraising. With a master’s degree in social work and business administration, as well as experience in housing services and philanthropy he brings skills and relationships to the team to help build PRG's equitable housing work.
Mindy came to PRG in 2013, bringing expertise developing and managing social service programs within service-enriched and supportive housing programs. Her background includes experience working with volunteers, developing collaborative partnerships, and serving diverse communities. Mindy is responsible for all aspects of PRG’s home ownership advising services and is also a direct provider of housing education and counseling.

Erin has over 20-years of experience as licensed real estate agent, specializing in the unique needs of first-time and often first-generation buyers. A certified Homebuyer Counselor since 2013, she is considered an expert at identifying and layering multiple funding sources to assist lower-income buyers. She joined our staff in 2001.
Board of Directors
Jane became a homeowner in the Longfellow neighborhood after completing a first-time homebuyer workshop at PRG in 2011. She joined the board in 2012 and has held terms as secretary and Vice President. Professionally, Jane works at the State of Minnesota and was trained as an urban planner.
Lisa Tabor is owner of CultureBrokers LLC. She has consulted on a variety of cultural inclusiveness projects for organizations as small as a local community council and as big as the nation's largest private provider of hospital and healthcare services. She joined the board in 2015.
Professionally, Erich has 25 years of business management and accounting expertise. He was a founding member (and president for five years) of Lyndale Neighborhood Development Corporation and has been a board member (and chair for two years) of Southside Family Charter School. He has served as a PRG board member since 1991.
Margaret is the proprietor of Margaret M. Benson, LLC, and works primarily with homeowners’ associations and small businesses. She has a unique view of the interests of homeowners as well as 30 years’ experience in bookkeeping and accounting.
Dante is an IT coordinator with SpartanNash by day and a DJ by night. Having grown up on the north side of Minneapolis, he recently returned as a new homeowner of a PRG-developed home. Dante coaches youth basketball during his free time and is committed to making north Minneapolis a place of opportunity for all. He joined the board in 2015.
David has served as executive director of a south Minneapolis community development corporation, as Deputy Mayor of Minneapolis, and as a strategic management consultant to nonprofit organizations. David is Executive Director of Tergar International, a meditation training and practice community. He joined the PRG board in 2011.
Caitlin is an attorney practicing at Drewes Law, PLLC, who represents homeowners facing foreclosure and other real estate and consumer-related issues. She first encountered PRG when she represented a homeownership counseling client in a foreclosure defense action. Caitlin’s legal practice has a strong public interest focus and she is committed to advancing homeowners’ interests both in litigation and on a more systematic level.
Cate is the owner/broker of Express Realty and works primarily with first-time homebuyers. Prior to the formation of her brokerage, she spent many years in the mortgage industry as an operations manager and mortgage underwriter. Cate has been a frequent homebuyer workshop volunteer presenter for PRG and other local nonprofits. She joined the board in 2017.
Luis is an Economic Development Manager for Minnesota Housing Partnership, focused on providing direct technical assistance to rural communities on housing and community economic development projects. He has worked in local city planning in Minnesota and Tennessee, single family community development program management at the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency, and previously worked in economic development for a neighborhood-based project in Northwest Illinois. He lives in Saint Paul with his wife and daughter.
Mark has over 20 years of experience with PRG and functions as the board historian. His expertise includes finance, personnel, and working with neighborhood organizations. He is retired as the former Director of the Office of Rural Health and Primary Care with the Minnesota Department of Health.
Corina is an Assistant Section 8 Programs Manager for the St. Paul PHA. She began her interest in housing studying the colonias along the Texas/Mexico border. She has studied and worked in affordable housing in El Paso, Chicago, and the Twin Cities. She lives in Frogtown, where she chairs the neighborhood association's board of directors.

Nelima Sitati Munene is the Executive Director of the African Career Education and Resource, inc. She is a passionate housing advocate and has dedicated her career working to advance Social Justice issues and advance Equitable outcomes in Community Development.
